Promotor:

The Presidency of the Regional Government of Azores, through the Regional Department for the Communities and the Regional Department for Youth, is organizing from 5 to 7 September 2009 the conference Jovens 2009 in Ponta Delgada, in São Miguel Island.

Aimed at young people from the Azores and from the Azorean communities, this conference has the following goals:

• To provide consideration and debate among young people from the communities, bringing them closer to Azores’ juvenile associative movement;
• To publicize Azores’ actuality in its multiple strands;
• To promote the increase of young people’s exchange;
• To draw full action guidelines in the short, medium and long term, in the communities and in the Azores.

The conference program will include plenary sessions, workshops, and field and leisure trips.

The registration for the meeting will take place online by filling up a form, which will be submitted to a selection process according to the defined criteria. It will be accepted after its payment.
